No Celtic is too small

Dear friends,

So often when I think of the service performed by Roanoke Catholic students, it’s of upper schoolers collecting coats for the Rescue Mission’s homeless or baby clothes for the Blue Ridge Women’s Center.

But I was recently reminded that no Celtic student is too small to hear God’s call.

Last week Mrs. Keeley’s dance club, made up mostly of 3- and 4-year-old preschoolers, trekked to Our Lady of the Valley retirement home. They danced, gave out candy canes, handmade cards – and hugs! – and shared the Christmas spirit with all.

Creating this culture of Christian community service is a hallmark of a Roanoke Catholic education. It’s a commitment we infuse throughout our curriculum each day … each year.

In this spirit of giving, please consider a year-end, tax-deductible gift to our Annual Fund to help us keep strong our Catholic identity through a vibrant campus ministry program; enhance our teachers’ salaries; fund new technologies; and make Roanoke Catholic affordable for all families.
