Support RCS on Roanoke Valley Gives Day, March 14

Thanks to your support of Roanoke Valley Gives 2017, RCS won first place among the region’s 150 participating nonprofits, earning a bonus $16,000 on top of the $85,000 raised.

Help us continue this momentum by supporting #RCS2018 during this year’s Roanoke Valley Gives Day on March 14.

Roanoke Valley Gives is a 24-hour online fundraising competition hosted by the Foundation for Roanoke Valley in which nonprofit organizations raising the most money can win tens of thousands of dollars in incentive prizes.

#RCS2018 supports:

  1. Gymnasium Air-Conditioning: Work has begun to air-condition the Gillespie Family Gymnasium. Support this investment and be credited on the project plaque.
  2. CelticsLive! Now video live-streaming all major school events, requires an annual $7,000 subscription fee to continue.
  3. Fine Arts: To follow-up last year’s Sound of Music, our drama program has begun preparations for Beauty and the Beast in May. Meanwhile, our choir has grown to 35 students and, with the school band, will compete together for the first time in April in a festival competition.
  4. Tuition Assistance: This year we welcomed 91 new students and welcomed back 93% of last year’s student body, resulting in a 10% surge in enrollment thanks in part to our financial aid programs.

You can designate your contribution to support:
  • Tuition assistance
  • Fine Arts
  • Gillespie Family Gym air-conditioning
  • Future CelticsLive broadcasts

Thank you for helping Roanoke Catholic win up to $15,000 in bonus prizes that will be reinvested in our students and teachers.
