RCS welcomes new middle school science teacher

Roanoke Catholic School is pleased to welcome Marc Patton as our new middle school science teacher.

Patton graduated Virginia Tech in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences and a minor in Physics. Since 2015 he has taught earth science at William Fleming High School, where he also serves as the varsity boys lacrosse team assistant coach.

“I’m eager and ready to start my journey teaching and learning from the students at Roanoke Catholic,” Patton says. “I am thankful for this opportunity and I look forward to starting next year.”

Patton specializes in education technology and in 2017 presented at the 37th annual Future of Education Technology Conference in Orlando, Fla.

He also volunteers as a meal provider for the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church youth group.
