RCS families can say Rosary together online today

RCS families can say Rosary together online today

With today being the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the protector of families and the Church, Pope Francis will lead Catholics in Italy and around the world in praying the rosary together from their homes for protection from the coronavirus.

Pope Francis will begin praying the Rosary today at 4 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. in Italy.

Roanoke Catholic teacher Helen Price is inviting RCS families to join her in praying the Rosary at this time via a Google meet room.

Otherwise, to join by phone, dial +1 937-738-3833 and enter this PIN: 264 082 117#

Mrs. Price asks that when you join the meeting that you mute yourself so that there is not a lot of feedback. She will ask a few people who join early to help in leading the decades of the Rosary.

“I will present the prayers so if you don’t know them by heart,” she says, “so you can still join in by praying along. If you come late that’s fine, we would love to have you there or as little or as much as you’re able.”
