Tony Pearman
Chief Creative Officer / Senior Partner
Tony Pearman currently serves as CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Access, a Virginia-based advertising/design studio that he co-founded in 1996.
Pearman has collected nearly 300 ADDYs at the local, regional and national level. PRINT and ID magazines, The Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, CASE, The Public Relations Society of America, and The Society for Environmental Graphic Designers have all recognized Pearman’s work.
Pearman has served on the board of the Advertising Federation of the Roanoke Valley in many capacities for nearly 15 years, including two terms as president. Pearman has served as Governor and Chairman of the Board of AAF District Three. As a member of the American Advertising Federation’s Board of Directors Pearman was appointed to two terms as Chair of The National ADDY Committee. Pearman served two terms for The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge. He currently serves on the board of The Children’s Advocacy Center in Roanoke. His service earned Pearman a 2005 award from the Virginia Governor’s Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect. In 2006, Access received The Kendig Award, the region’s highest honor for service and commitment to the arts. He was the first person chosen as Advertising Person of the Year by the Western Virginia Advertising.

Over 40 years ago, Harry J. Hoenselaar began a special tradition when he opened his first The HoneyBaked Ham Company store in Michigan. He’d select the finest quality bone-in ham. Cure it in his secret marinade, and then for tenderness, he’d smoke the ham for hours over a unique blend of hardwood chips.
The crowning touch was Harry’s crunchy sweet glaze that crackled with good taste. He even found a way to slice the ham into perfectly even slices. He invented and patented a unique machine that slices a ham in a single, continuous spiral. The rest is history.
Three generations and over 400 stores later, the Hoenselaar family still prepares The HoneyBaked Ham the same way that Harry did… one ham at a time. The children and grandchildren of the Hoenselaar family are committed to carrying on the wonderful tradition and legacy of Harry J. Hoenselaar.
